I'm off to Port au Prince, and as you may know, volunteering ain't cheap! They really need everything out there and I've been approved through Homeland Security to be aboard the next Volunteer Minister's plane out of LA! I'll be bringing with me all that the maximum weight limit will allow and leaving a lot of it out there to help. Your donation will not only help get me out there, but STAY out there for hopefully 2 weeks.

The Volunteer Ministers are having meetings with the UN and Military 3 times a day and besides money for airplane fuel, they need able bodies who can withstand the barely tolerable living conditions to assist them in bringing order, hope and soon, recovery. That's me. :) I'll be leaving my cushy bed to sleep outdoors on a mat. I'll be forfeiting Caesar Salads for military freeze-dried carb dinners and I'll be making newly orphaned children laugh by turning a stick into a puppet.

If you have seen any of the news on this horrific tragedy and have wanted to do something, trust me, this is it! I have 3 friends there now and they are urgently waiting for our plane to arrive next week with new manpower!
